Alice Duhan defended her doctoral dissertation in French at Stockholm University on 3rd December 2021. Her dissertation, Les langues du roman translingue, examined the contemporary translingual novel in French, focusing in particular on Vassilis Alexakis, Nancy Huston and Andreï Makine. During her doctoral studies, she worked as an assistant for the research programme Cosmopolitan and Vernacular Dynamics in World Literatures. From autumn 2021, she will participate as a researcher in the project Mediating the Maghreb: Literary Creation, Institutions, Circulation, a collaboration between Stockholm University and Mohammed V University in Rabat.
